About The Crescara//Project

This exists
because it
has to.

The Crescara//Project is a financial literacy curriculum for high school students, built by someone who lived the exact cycle it's designed to break.

The Origin

The Crescara//Project exists because I lived the exact cycle it's built to break.

Nobody handed me a manual for money. I spent years learning the hard way what this curriculum now teaches in full. I went on to earn a Master's in Financial Management — not to distance myself from where I started, but so I could go back and build the thing I needed at sixteen.

This isn't a curriculum built by someone studying poverty from the outside. It's built by someone who knows exactly what it costs when nobody teaches you early enough to make a difference.

Years spent inside the financial industry itself, at Prudential and Citadel, only sharpened the conviction: the system is not designed to explain itself. Someone has to. This is that.

The Mission
Money is the subject
we silence at home,
skip in school,
and spend the rest of our lives wishing we'd learned.
Close the gap.
Financial literacy has been passed over in schools for generations. Not because educators don't care, but because no one handed it down to them either. The Crescara//Project exists to close that gap permanently.
Treat it as a system.
You can't teach investing without budgeting. You can't teach credit without income. Financial life is a web. This curriculum was built as a complete system because that's the only way it actually works.
Meet every student where they are.
Every student's financial reality is different. A student in a rural town and a student in a major city are not facing the same world. This curriculum reflects that difference, specifically and intentionally.
The Program

What The Crescara//Project is.

A complete, full-year curriculum
Three units, 27 chapters, covering every financial topic a student needs before graduation: budgeting, banking, negotiating, insurance, credit, investing, and real estate. Written, designed, and ready to teach.
An interactive learning tool unlike anything else
The Consequence Engine lets students manipulate real financial decisions and watch outcomes change in real time. Five brokerage simulations built in. Nothing like it exists in financial education today.
Built on lived experience and academic rigor
Every lesson was designed from both ends: someone who has lived financial hardship and studied the solution academically. This is not a textbook written by committee. It's a curriculum built with purpose.
In development: more tools are coming
The ARC and The Marketplace are in development, awaiting funding to build. They expand what the platform can do. What's here now is already more comprehensive than anything else in the space.
Build the foundation.
Protect what you build.
Grow what you protect.
