AB 2927 requires every California public high school to offer a personal finance course by 2027 to 2028. A graduation requirement follows in 2030 to 2031. That's every public high school student in the state, with a legal obligation to provide this education, and a narrow window to find a curriculum that's actually ready.
The Crescara//Project is the only comprehensive, fully digital, personalized financial literacy curriculum that can meet that standard. The content is complete. Funding activates the platform.
The Crescara//Project is not seeking funding to write content.
The content is ready.
Funding builds the software layer that deploys it.
Every dollar is accounted for. Here's exactly what it builds:
California schools currently get financial education support through a patchwork: a state curriculum guide that outlines standards but isn't a teachable course, free digital modules built to supplement a course rather than be one, resource libraries that teachers still have to assemble into lesson plans themselves, and one-day simulations.
None of these hand a district a finished, sequenced, ready-to-teach course. The Crescara//Project does.
The Crescara//Project exists because I lived the exact cycle it's built to break. Nobody handed me a manual for money, and I spent years learning the hard way what this curriculum now teaches in full.
I went on to earn a Master's in Financial Management , not to distance myself from where I started, but so I could go back and build the thing I needed at sixteen.
This isn't a curriculum built by someone studying poverty from the outside. It's built by someone who knows exactly what it costs when nobody teaches you early enough to make a difference.
